01 / BigMuak Scents
A clearer way to manage stock, sales, and profit.
We helped a perfume and scented-oil retailer move from a high-effort Notion setup to a purpose-built admin app for the day-to-day running of the business.

01 / The problem
The records were there. Keeping them useful took too much work.
BigMuak Scents used Notion to track products, sales, and expenses. It worked as a place to store information, but not as an operating system for a growing retail business.
Every update asked for manual effort. A sale could mean changing one record, adjusting stock somewhere else, and then working through the calculations needed to understand profit. Missing one step made the final picture less reliable.
The owner needed a simpler way to answer basic questions: what is left, what has sold, what has been spent, and whether the business is making a profit.
02 / The decision
Fix the internal workflow before adding a storefront.
A storefront was already part of the longer-term plan. But adding customer orders first would have placed more pressure on an already fragile process.
We started with the operating layer: one dependable system for products, sales, expenses, and performance. The future storefront can extend that same source of truth rather than create another set of records to maintain.
03 / The solution
One app for the work that used to happen across separate records.
- 01
Inventory
Products keep their quantities, purchase costs, selling prices, and stock status in one place.
- 02
Sales
Recording a sale reduces stock automatically and calculates the profit from that transaction.
- 03
Income and expenses
Every inflow and operating expense has a clear category, description, date, and amount.
- 04
Business overview
The dashboard turns those records into revenue, costs, profit or loss, and inventory health.
The important part happens underneath the dashboard.
When a sale is recorded, stock falls and profit updates from the same action. If the sale changes, the inventory adjusts with it. That connection removes the reconciliation work that made the old process difficult to trust.
04 / The outcome
Less time maintaining the record. More time running the business.
- Less time spent adding and reconciling records
- Fewer chances for inventory and sales figures to drift apart
- A faster, clearer view of how the business is performing
- A dependable base for a future customer storefront
